The Bunch Program is intended for students enrolled in Nursery and/or Pre-K Programs at Saint Michael School. This program bridges the care needs of families that require full-day care for their children. The Bunch Program provides your child with a comfortable, safe environment that extends outside of your child’s standard school hours. The Bunch Program was designed by the Nursery and Pre-K team to expand upon the current curriculum.

HOW IS THE BUNCH PROGRAM DIFFERENT FROM THE EXTENDED DAY PROGRAM?

The Bunch Program is only available to Nursery and Pre-K students. It requires an annual commitment, and may not be used on a drop-in basis. The Extended Day and Bunch Program may be used together, allowing for care options that run from 7am - 5:30pm.

  • Morning sessions run from 9am to 12:30pm Monday thru Friday when school is in session.
  • Afternoon sessions run from 11:45am to 3:15pm Monday thru Friday when school is in session.
  • Program designed by Nursery, Pre-K and Kindergarten team.
  • Full time nurse available
  • Students can purchase a hot lunch
  • Choose a two, three, four or five day program - you pick the days!

In addition to activities that are designed around the Nursery and Pre-K curriculum, students may have the opportunity to:

  • Visit the library
  • Learn Spanish
  • Use Computers
  • Attend Physical Education Classes
  • Art and Music Enrichment
  • And Much More

Extended Day

The Extended Day Program is for students in Nursery-Grade 8, and is available from 7am to 9am and again from 3:15pm to 5:30pm . It offers your child a comfortable, safe environment that extends outside of standard school hours. This drop-in program is designed with flexibility and safety in mind. The Extended Day Program helps parents bridge the gap when home care is not available. We offer the children a wide range of activities including arts & crafts, outdoor play, library time, games, and dramatic arts that will enhance his/her social and emotional growth. Children will also be given the opportunity to finish homework, enjoy a book, or just take advantage of some quiet time under the supervision of our qualified staff.
